VERMILLION — Local guitarist T. Wilson King will play iconic Martin guitars once owned by Merle Travis, Johnny Cash and Shawn Colvin to open the NMM Live! concert series. The show will take place at noon on Friday, September 9 at the National Music Museum’s Janet Wanzek Performance Hall on the University of South Dakota campus in Vermillion. Free entry.
King will be joined on stage by Robert Rohlfs, a longtime professional musician and future Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, as well as Arian Sheets, curator of string instruments at the NMM, who will share the history and importance of these superb guitars.
