ST. PAUL – In honor of National Peace Officers Memorial Day, which is May 15, members of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard stood guard at the Law Enforcement Memorial in St. Paul.

They also honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, especially Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputy Curt Felt, who was killed in the line of duty on June 29, 1978. The Honor Guard of the Douglas County was able to place a memorial wreath in Deputy Felt’s honor. .
